MDC Wallcoverings is proud to be an Industry Member of the International Interior Design Association.  The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is a professional networking and educational association of more than 10,000 Members in 8 specialty Forums, 9 Regions, and more than 30 Chapters around the world committed to enhancing the quality of life through excellence in interior design and advancing interior design through knowledge.

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) works to advance the value of the interior design and its practitioners as well as to cultivate leadership within the profession. MDC Wallcoverings encourages its employees to affiliate with their local chapters and is actively involved in association sponsored activities.

American Society of Interior Designers  www.asid.org
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a community of people—designers, industry representatives, educators and students—committed to interior design. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, the Society strives to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives. Its more than 38,000 members engage in a variety of professional programs and activities through a network of 48 chapters throughout the United States and Canada.

The American Institute of Architects, founded in 1857, is a community of 77,000 licensed architects and associated professionals--individuals dedicated to building on your vision. Here's your source to find out more about the profession and how to work with an architect.  Members of The American Institute of Architects have worked with each other and their communities to create more valuable, healthy, secure, and sustainable buildings and cityscapes.

The Construction Specifications Institute  www.csinet.org
The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is a national association of specifiers, architects, engineers, contractors, building materials suppliers and others involved in commercial and institutional building design and construction. The organization has 145 chapters and more than 16,000 members. CSI provides technical information and products, continuing education, professional conferences, and product shows to enhance communication among all disciplines of building design and construction, and to meet the industry's need for a common system of organizing and presenting construction information.

CSI's mission is unique. It's to continuously improve the process of creating and sustaining the built environment. It achieves this mission by facilitating communication among all those involved in that process. Its members represent all the disciplines engaged in non-residential building design and construction.

Network of Executive Women in Hospitality  www.newh.org
Founded in 1984, NEWH is an international non-profit organization, with 18 chapters and 5 affiliated areas. NEWH brings together professionals from all facets of the hospitality industry providing opportunities for education, professional development and networking. The organization offers unique opportunities including an international membership directory, Career Network, magazine and sponsorship of leading industry expositions and conferences. To date, NEWH has given in excess of US$1,400,000.00 in scholarships to young people wishing to pursue careers in the hospitality industry.

The mission of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers (NGPP) is to unite paperhangers for the purpose of upgrading their skills and knowledge, forming a genuine bond, encouraging good practices and ethics, and working for the betterment of the wallcoverings industry.   The NGPP’s vision is to be the recognized and respected authority for the wallcovering installation profession by exceeding consumer and industry expectations.

Painting & Decorating Contractors of America  www.pdca.org
The PDCA develops industry standards, industry-specific publications and programs essential to the success of your business.  From business management publications, to training and reference videos, to health and safety manuals, they are continually providing the resources needed to manage a successful painting & decorating company.  The PDCA represents over 10,000 owners and managers from more than 3,000 painting and decorating firms across the U.S. and Canada.

The PDCA actively represents the interests of all painting contractors, large and small. It focuses on legislative and regulatory affairs that directly affect the painting and decorating contractor and establishes guidelines that benefit the entire construction and design community.

The Wallcoverings Association provides an excellent vehicle for communication between various segments of the wallcoverings industry while promoting the use of wallcoverings in the marketplace.  This site provides an excellent resource for understanding wallcovering products and uses as well as database of knowledge on all subjects that affect the industry.
